More Flower News

August 18, 2009

I (of course) love the idea of pinning a flower on the dress or making it into a belt, but so far I have been a little skeptical of the typical silk flowers we’ve all seen on Etsy and in the fabric stores. You know that smell when you first walk into Michael’s? Not so pleasant, is it?

This lady, however really takes flower pins and belts to a new level. You can just tell she really loves what she does and she puts in so much effort on her blog alone to bring the aesthetics of her work and her personality together. She has specialized vintage French velvet flowers, limited edition! Who does that? And you can tell she just loves what she does! Check out Emerson Made blog and store.

I don’t know if this is her husband or a male model. Either way she is a lucky lady! So is that duck.
